Hywel's note: the lighting for this set was an experiment mixing ringflash with backlight. I like the way it retains the characteristic shadowless skin purity of ringflash with a bit of the glamour effect of rim-light and hair-light. In retrospect, I'd probably have turned the back light up a bit, or maybe tried it with a second person rotating around Tillie holding the backlight by hand so we always had the two lights 180 degrees apart- will try that next time!
