She's been shimmying her way up and down the coast, conning the credulous out of their city bonuses. Inspector Smith had to admire her, in a way.

She never stole from anyone who couldn't afford it or ran a con against anyone who wasn't basically a professional con-man in the city themselves.

Nonetheless, it was his job to bring her in, and brought in she would be! He cornered her at the Hotel d'Orleans, confronted her in her room and

quickly locked her in speed-cuffs and heavy-weight Clejuso cuffs. She was known to be a slippery customer- a bit of an escape artist, possibly even

a contortionist! Of course, she denied all knowledge of the crimes, claiming she was an innocent, a small-town accountant come to the coast on

vacation. Neither of them believed a word of it, but it was the game they had to play. Secretly, Inspector Smith hoped she would wriggle her way

free as soon as the local flat-foots took over her custody. In a secret part of his heart, he wondered what she did with the money. Romantic

Robin Hood notions- or just selfishness, the same as all the rest of them?

Hywel's note: I've saved up editing this set from our first shoot with Lucy Lauren because I knew they were just gorgeous. That winter

late afternoon shaft of sunlight has been one of the treats of shooting in our new(ish) house, and adding a little bit of haze with a

cine-film hazer, plus a tiny touch of fill from the practical room light and a light panel really lift the mood. You will notice though that

some of the shots are a little out of focus or camera-shaky, especially if you zoom in to 100% on the full-sized images. I've subsequently

figured out that one needs to keep a shutter speed of 1/200th of a second if one can manage it, in situations like this where the model is

struggling and emoting "live in motion" rather than doing very static posed shots. I've left the shots in because I think they add a bit

of an edgier feel to the set and it's really only noticeable if you zoom right in to the full-size shots.
