Ariel looks breathtaking in a silk dress, barefoot and bound. Her long legs are tied in a classic frogtie, showing off
the soles of her beautiful bare feet. Her hands are cleverly confined behind her back in a minimalist take on the
reverse prayer position.
Hywel's note: this is one of the very earliest sets we shot with one of the Sony mirrorless digital cameras and a fast lens,
using the available light in the room (plus I think a very small amount of fill). It's one of the looks you see a lot in high-end
aspirational adverts and media and RE is nothing if not aspirational! It's taken us several years to get to grips with the
tools and techniques of this shooting style so we can customise it on command, but it's interesting how gorgeous it looked
from the very start. There's something very dream-like and enticing about the images from the 85mm f/1.4 GM lens in particular
that has made it the firm favourite of all the RE crew when shooting with the Sony. (Kate's more of an adherent to the 80mm
lens on the Hasselblad, which is probably my second-favourite combo).
