This funky new rope is made of bamboo, and I must say it has been a huge hit with all the RE models and riggers who have tried it. It's got something of the bite of other natural fibres like hemp, so it takes knots very well without slipping like nylon/polypropylene. Unlike hemp it is super-soft, softer even than cotton, probably the most comfortable rope I've ever used for longer-term ties. And its got a bit of stretch and elasticity to it - like nylon, but with more bounce. So it's great for body harnesses, karadas and the like as it has enough give to breathe with the model but then the tension brings it back into position. I put it to good use in this tie which was Czech Beauty's first time being tied up in a while ( damn you COVID!) Probably the only thing I don't like about the rope is the tassles, which seem to be a natural product of knotted ends with this particular rope. We've tired some other end sealing methods but they don't seem to hold.
