Sneaking into the old abandoned factory building was the easy part looking for clues to the missing girls. The catsuited crime fighter alter ego Lauri Adverb had to investigate the old basement where her informants told there was evidence in finding the girls down there. She crept down the stairs into the gloomy dank basement searching she came upon and old vault. She pulls out her light and searches the vault when the heavy steel door slams shut. Then invisible gas begins to fill the chamber choking our intrepid heroine. She fights the effects of the gas, kicking at the the heavy still door until she is overcome by the gas and collapses onto the floor. She later wakes up tightly bound and gagged laying on a pallet. Her arms have been cruelly bound behind her back with her elbows crushed painfully together. Her booted ankles are tightly bound and her mouth packed full and layers of heavy elastic wrap has been wrapped tightly around her head over her mouth. She struggles helplessly tying break free of the ropes. But they are to stout and well tied. She then reaches out with her fingers feeling for the knots binding her booted ankles. She works the knots desperately until she feels them work loose. She is then able to kick the ropes free of her ankles and struggles to her feet. Now to try to escape from the basement and try to get herself untied. She wanders the halls, rooms, stairways and corridors in a desperate attempt to find and exit from the dank gloomy basement. But each exit is locked or blocked and she is forced to back track getting lost in the maze of halls and rooms. Her luck runs out when the Hunter ambushes her from the darkness. She is helpless to fight back as he leads her back into the bowels of his basement of horrors. Lauri is forced up onto a cart with her head in a noose. Standing on the edge of the cart with her arms still helplessly bound behind her back she can't escape from her peril. The Hunter comes in and bend down to open the valve on a hydraulic jack. She can feel the noose tighten as the jack slowly lowers the end of the cart. She desperately fights the ropes but the noose keeps getting tighter and tighter. All hope seems lost.
